An award‑winning legal educator with a decade of experience shaping the next generation of legal professionals, Peter specialises in curriculum leadership, professional skills development, and high‑quality delivery across legal education pathways. His work blends academic rigour with practical, work‑based learning to ensure learners thrive in a rapidly evolving legal sector.
Peter leads the design, development, and quality assurance of legal services programmes at Innersummit, ensuring they remain flexible, industry‑aligned, and responsive to employer needs. His expertise spans CILEX qualifications from Level 3 to Level 7, apprenticeship standards, curriculum innovation, and adult learning theory. He is recognised for his ability to translate complex legal concepts into accessible, engaging learning experiences.
Peter plays a central role in shaping Innersummit’s legal education strategy. He drives curriculum development, oversees teaching quality, leads CPD initiatives, and collaborates with external partners to influence sector‑wide standards. His leadership ensures that learners and employers receive programmes that are modern, skills‑focused, and aligned with professional expectations.
With 10 years at the Etc., Peter has taught law across Levels 3–6 and has been a key figure in delivering CILEX programmes since 2019. He authored a Foundation Degree in Law and Practice in partnership with a local university, demonstrating his strength in curriculum design and academic innovation. His work extends beyond the classroom, influencing national apprenticeship standards and shaping the future of legal education.
Outside of his professional achievements, Peter is an active member of the performing arts community. He volunteers with a theatre society, directing and performing in award‑winning musicals. In 2024 he wrote an original pantomime that went on to win Best Pantomime at the NODA Awards in 2025. His creative work has also earned two Best Musical awards for productions he both directed and starred in.
Peter is passionate about empowering learners to build confidence, develop professional identity, and succeed in the legal services sector. He thrives on creating learning environments that are dynamic, supportive, and grounded in real‑world practice.
