Course overview
This qualification focuses on the practical skills needed to successfully plan, manage and deliver projects.
Learners will complete two mandatory units:
Managing Projects to Achieve Results
Understanding the project lifecycle
-Planning and managing time, cost, and resources
-Identifying and managing risks and stakeholders
– Monitoring progress and ensuring successful delivery
Conducting a Management Project
– Applying project management knowledge in a real work-based project
– Researching, planning, and delivering a project
– Evaluating outcomes and demonstrating impact and improvement

You will be assessed by a mixture of internal formative assessments and external examinations throughout the duration of your training programme.
After completing this qualification, learners can progress to:
More advanced project or operational roles such as:
Project Manager
Operations Manager
Department Manager
Further professional development, including:
CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership
There are no formal academic requirements; however, learners should:
– Be aged 18 or over
– Be working in, or aspiring to, a management or project-based role
– Have some experience of managing tasks, projects, or teams (desirable)
– Have a good standard of written and spoken English
– Be able to complete work-based assignments
