Course: Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship
Beginning her career in customer service within the Tilly Bailey and Irvine (TBI) billing team, Megan knew that she wanted to progress. Fast forward five years, she’s just achieved distinction in her Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship!
Megan said: “I did art at college, purely because I enjoyed it, but once I left and started looking for a job a role at TBI caught my interest, and that’s where it all began. I’ve always been interested in property, so when the opportunity came up to move over to the conveyancing team, I couldn’t say no.
“My apprenticeship opens up all kinds of different routes for career progression, and I’d love to start my Level 6 Chartered Legal Executive Apprenticeship, after a break over the summer!”
The Etc. has been a trusted provider of apprenticeships and training for TBI for a while now, with Innersummit’s operations manager and law lecturer, Victoria still practising there during the week.
Victoria says: “Megan has been a credit to teach; she has gone from strength to strength demonstrating her skills and knowledge in the workplace. I have had the pleasure of observing her in action and seeing her confidence grow. I am looking forward to teaching Megan on the Level 6 Chartered Legal Executive Apprenticeship – she will be a credit to the profession.”
Pairing job satisfaction with constantly learning is what keeps Megan loving what she does. She says: “It’s something different every day, and moments like the reward of helping first time buyers purchase their first home is unmatched – I love being part of that journey.
“I’ve always been supported both personally and professionally, and I could not have achieved what I have so far without Victoria, she’s an invaluable support.”
A paralegal apprenticeship is perfect for those who want to begin a career in the legal sector or those who are currently working in the legal sector who are looking to upskill in the workplace.
