Level 4 Quality Practitioner Apprenticeship

There are no formal entry requirements for this apprenticeship. However, applicants should be working in a role that enables them to develop and demonstrate responsibility for quality assurance, quality improvement, compliance, auditing, processes or quality management within their organisation.
Applicants should have the support of their employer and be able to demonstrate that their role provides sufficient opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required by the apprenticeship standard.
English and maths requirements will be assessed in line with the current apprenticeship funding rules.

- Understand the organisation, its environment, stakeholders, regulations, and how quality, sustainability, and strategy interact.
- Identify, translate, and measure customer/stakeholder requirements, manage risks/opportunities, and apply quality tools across the product/service lifecycle.
- Use data audits, process improvement methods, and structured problem‑solving to improve quality performance and support organisational objectives.
- Demonstrate professional behaviours: integrity, customer focus, continuous improvement, effective communication, and ongoing personal development.
You could work towards higher level quality specific roles, or higher level management such as operations manager or production manager.
